- April 21: TRAC's Art Roadshow. Burnsville Town Center. Free Admission, 4 - 6pm.
- May 3: Mitchell County Student Art Exhibit. Held during the Penland Open House.
- May 19: TRAC 6th Annual Paint Out. One-day event (from 8 am to 5 pm) in Burnsville, open to artists working in painting and drawing mediums. Work will be displayed May 19 – June 2 at the Burnsville Gallery.
- June 8 – 10: Toe River Studio Tour. A self-guided art and craft studio tour and open house. Studios open Friday from noon to 4pm, and 10am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. Reception on Friday from 5 - 7pm. Exhibit dates: May 12 – June 10.
- September 29: Music in the Mountains Folk Festival, 5 - 9:30pm, Burnsville Town Center.
- October 13: TRAC Annual Art Auction. Our annual fundraiser has been moved to coincide with the Spruce Pine Potters Market and will take place on the evening of October 13 at the Spruce Pine TRAC Gallery.
- Dec 2 - 4: Holiday Studio Tour. A self-guided art and craft studio tour and open house. Studios open Friday from noon to 4pm, and 10am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. Reception on Friday from 5 - 7pm. Exhibit dates: November 17 – December 29.

- Old Fashioned Patriotic Celebration on the Burnsville Square. The Burnsville Lions Club is the sponsor this year and will be continuing to offer a $10 discount to current TRAC members.
