Join us for a fun, informative teacher workshop presented by Carlota Santana on April 3, 3:30 - 5:00 at the Burnsville Town Center.

Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana uses the universal language of dance to enrich the curriculum with a multicultural approach to education. The students can learn not only solid Spanish Dance technique but the discipline and commitment inherent in learning an art form. Students use Spanish dance as a way to uncover Spanish history, language,
culture and social studies.

The students learn about the development and cultural influences of Flamenco, the three elements comprising the art of Flamenco, and the music and dance technique of Flamenco. The educational advantages in learning through real life experiences are unmatched and will heighten the students’ appreciation of cultural diversity in our schools and communities.

Contact the TRAC Gallery, 828-682-7215 or carolyn@toeriverarts.org to sign up for the workshop.
