DESCRIPTION:The 11th Anniversary Paint Out brings together artists from around the region to spend the day capturing Burnsville and the surround area on paper\, canvas and board. The event begin at 8am; artists paint\, draw\, create 2-dimensional work that depicts the landscape in and around Burnsville. They return at 5pm when works are hung. A reception is held that evening\, May 13 from 6:30 to 7:30 and awards are presented by Asheville Artist John McKah.

DESCRIPTION:Holly Walker\, Ceramics \nAn abecedarium is something arranged alphabetically. For Abecedarium | Envisioned\, Holly Walker has chosen to display the title piece as a wall of 26 ceramic plates\, using one letter of the alphabet as a design starting point for each plate. Some letters are recognizable\, others are harder to identify. SUMMARY:The 39 Steps
DESCRIPTION:A melodrama adapted from the 1915 novel by John Buchan and the 1935 film by Alfred Hitchcock. The original concept and production of a four-actor version of the \nstory was by Simon Corble and Nobby Dimon. Patrick Barlow rewrote the adaptation in 2005. The entirety of the adventure film to be performed with a cast of only four. One actor plays the hero\, another plays the three women with whom he has romantic entanglements\, and two others play every other character in the show. Thus the film’s serious spy story is played mainly for laughs\, and the script is full of allusions to other well-known Alfred Hitchcock films. \nPlease visit the website for ticket information and pricing.
