My artwork has always been a response to life around me and to express the joy found in small things. An idea may spring from a conversation with friends, music, or a hike in the woods. I primarily work in paper clay and fabric, often combined with up-cycled, found, or handmade items, to create one-of-a-kind pieces. My recent move from Tennessee to Western North Carolina has been both exciting and inspirational; making new friends, loving old friends, and enjoying the journey.
