Baileywyck Art Studio is the working studio of painter and silversmith Carol Wallace Bailey. Carol paints in both oils and pastels and her work focuses primarily on the many stunning elements of nature found in and about the region,many of which she finds in her own front yard. Carol attempts to capture images that appear luminous since qualities of light are so transient and therefore often seem magical. Carol notes that “possibly what I’m working toward is a sort of ordinary grace, a celebration of all that is constantly with us if we would only truly notice and embrace it.”
