June 2nd & 4th
Making Faces! Painting and Sculpting
Explore the art behind facial features by learning how the skull shapes what we see. Campers will sculpt a simple skull using air-dry clay, practice drawing with charcoal from different angles, and experiment with eyes, noses, and mouths inspired by famous faces. The week wraps up with a playful painted portrait, bringing it all together in a bold, expressive way.
June 9th & 11th
Making Faces! Painting Emotion
Explore how artists use color and symbolism to express feeling and identity. Campers will create an emotion-based color wheel of faces, then develop a bold portrait inspired by Amedeo Modigliani and Frida Kahlo, incorporating expressive features and vibrant floral elements.
June 16th & 18th
Making Faces! Painting with Texture
Explore how artists throughout history used texture to create faces, inspired by ancient cave paintings and medieval frescoes. Campers will experiment with sand and wet plaster to build their own richly textured portraits.
June 23rd & 25th
Extra! Extra! Zines & Newsletters
Work together to create a collaborative newsletter inspired by your surroundings. Use collage, drawing, and simple printmaking to tell visual stories and take home your own zine.
JULY 7th & 9th
Learning to See: Drawing with Pastels
Slow down and look closely as you learn to visually break down everyday objects into shape, color, and texture. Explore the fundamental techniques of pastels and charcoal while building observation skills and creating artwork with depth and expression.
JULY 14th & 16th
No Place Like Home: 3D Sculpture
Design and build miniature versions of your favorite places using cardboard and mixed materials. Explore storytelling, scale, and creative construction.
JULY 21st & 23rd
Cardboard Critters: Mask Making
Create imaginative 3D masks inspired by animals and characters using paper mâché and mixed media. Paint and decorate your own unique creature.
JULY 28th & 30th

Create a collaborative newsletter using collage, drawing, and print techniques inspired by your environment. Take home your own printed zine.
