Toe River Arts Moves Yancey County Location
Since 1976, Toe River Arts has served as a resource for artists and residents of Mitchell and Yancey counties. The organization is excited to be expanding its presence into a larger space on the Burnsville Town Square. “We’re all thrilled about this partnership with Yancey County and look forward to better highlighting the work of our talented artist community in a new, beautiful space,” says Executive Director Nealy Andrews. The move is scheduled for late fall, but there is a series of pop-up shops scheduled throughout the renovation to help generate revenue for their artists until the new Burnsville location is complete. The Toe River Arts Spruce Pine location will remain open. Toe River Arts will be sharing information and updates as they become available.
